Community Outreach - Student Art Contest

The Student At Contest was considered a major success not only for the students who participated but for the city of Wilmington and FFRD.

As part of our efforts in promoting community awareness of the cultural and historical value of the train station vicinity, the Friends of the Furness Railroad District and the Delaware Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, invited public and private school students in Grades 4 - 12 to participate in a Student Art Contest. Held on May 21, 2007, the contest generated excitement and enthusiasm in the City of Wilmington. Their entries are included below.
